I had an amazing year of gigs in 2018, which is pretty impressive considering how many I missed due to ill health (never going to get over missing the Manics’ Resistance Is Futile tour, quite honestly). Here are my top 5 of the year. The top 2 sit comfortably amongst the best gigs I’ve ever been to in my life.
My first ever Kylie gig was a night of thoughtful yet joyous pop. And a surprising amount of moshing.
An incredible night of pop from an icon at the peak of her power. As Kylie herself sang, WOW WOW WOW WOW!
Happy 50th birthday to this incredible icon.
Kylie’s music has been a part of my life since I became a music fan in the late 80s. I must confess that at the time, I didn’t quite appreciate her wonderfulness. In which I blather on a bit about some fab songs around right now. This week: Kylie Minogue, LA Salami, Friendly Fires, Hollie Cook, Rae Morris and Robbie Williams.
